On a more serious note: the new tmt card is bonkers in dredge, a molten gatekeeper that cannot be casted down, cheap body, and redundacy with gatekeeper. we finally have the missing piece of the puzzle we were waiting for. And i can play this at geddon!! this is crazy!

@Ghostcrawler While i agree that they eventually will become powerful tools i fear that AI today is being used a scapegoat for companies to freely do layoffs and when/if it fails have someone to point fingers as the reason, not the mismanagement of company resources and outrageous targets

AI may one day accelerate game development. But it’s not happening today. All of these layoffs are just to cut opex and make the stock prices go up. It will lead to empty portfolios for the next few years.

@Ghostcrawler Creative kickoffs or brainstorms i kinda miss on IRL meetings, but for feature work, tracking and iterating 100% virtual are wonderful

There are a lot of downsides to virtual meetings. But one element I’ve really come to appreciate is how you can have two conversation streams at once with chat being the less important anecdotal or even meme stream.
