@xShephardx And here I thought you were going to skip out on it.
English

@ThrillaRilla369 I got my ass whooped so hard I did that thing where you stop breathing mid-cry…and then I ate my dinner.
Lesson learned.

Unpopular opinion:
Gamers aren’t “wasting time”…
We’re problem-solving under pressure, building reflexes, and making split-second decisions most people would fold under.
All while someone in our headset is yelling nonsense 😭
But sure… tell me again how it’s “just a game.”
What game had your heart racing like that? 🎮👇
English

@SpawnYaardReply @RAKSWALKER Apparently the devs wanted the puzzles, bosses, etc to be hard so that the community would come together and figure it out.
English

@TheAnnaji @RAKSWALKER I’m trying to catch up on reviews, I have a bunch of scary titles to release videos on.
Going to add Total Chaos to the list.
English

@BonafideXP @RAKSWALKER They’re good !
Total Chaos added new game plus a week ago.
English

Big shout-out to my guy @TheAnnaji
You have been an awesome friend to talk to and have fun conversations with.
Always try to reply and give me cool tips.
And thanks to you for recommending RE2 games
RE2 remake is insanely fun ☺️
Follow this guy for awesome time
English

@JeremyPenter Been loving the game so far. Your videos on it have been really good. Knowledgeable with that wordplay.
English

@TheAnnaji @RAKSWALKER Hmmm…I’ve heard much about Amnesia. I downloaded the demo to Total Chaos. Still need to check that out.
English

@RAKSWALKER @BonafideXP RE not horror from start to finish. You get to breathe a little.
Unlike Total Chaos—that one's a nightmare,and Amnesia: The Bunker.
English

@SpawnYaardReply @CrimsonDesert_ Bet, I’ll do that. Keep it simple.
English

@BonafideXP @CrimsonDesert_ I think 10 hour play time is a good number of hours to realize what's good and what's not sticking.
English

Crimson Desert: 2 Hour Impressions
- Combat is amazingly satisfying. Not too much is thrown at you at the start as far as combat, but I love how it feels so far. Heavy, rugged and flashy.
- Pywel is a character as much as Kliff is, and world building seems to be as big a deal as everything else in the game. I don’t mind a slow burn in games as long as I feel progression; and it doesn’t always mean a bar is filling up. I love learning how to interact with this world.
- I’m running into NPCs that have things going on, vendors have simple issues they need help with and it’s making the experience that much more immersive.
- Kliff’s movement is slow. He’s very heavy to move around in. Movement could be a bit more loose.
- Kliff needs to be in exact positions in order to grab and interact with items and objects, open doors and even climb ladders. Could be more forgiving.
- Kliff doesn’t talk much. He’s a blend of stoicism when he does talk, and straight silent protagonist. Would like him to command the space more and share his internal thoughts.
- I see what people are talking about in regards to some of the control layouts. My muscle memory hasn’t fully dialed in on it all yet, and I know there are a ton more things to learn.
- The opening story beats were really good so far. I wish the cutscenes weren’t baked, and were instead all in engine. The fades and cuts to black between moments always take me out of the experience. I’ll deal with it..
I have too many things to say from a micro and macro level, but I think I’ll do a 50 hour impressions video to start and then sprinkle in some clips in between now and then. I’m still in learning mode but I’m having an amazing time feeling things out.
More to come!

English

@RAKSWALKER @TheAnnaji Bro, check out Silent Hill 2 Remake when you can. I hadn’t played a Silent Hill game until last year, my wife is a huge fan and we played it. Blew my mind it was so good.
English

@BonafideXP @TheAnnaji Yeah bro I too didn't like horror game before but started RE 2 remake and it's damn good
English

@RAKSWALKER They were for me too. I’m actually starting to get the hang of it. It’s making more sense how they decided to map these buttons so that everything fit onto a controller.
It’s not conventional to what we are used to, but it’s really starting to click.
English

@BonafideXP Yeah for real but the controls are really breaking the immersion for me
English

@SpawnYaardReply @CrimsonDesert_ What do you think is a good time frame for this game on an early impressions? 10? 25?
English

@BonafideXP @CrimsonDesert_ I think you should do an early impression video too, even if it's 5 minutes
English

If it matters to you, always pay attention to it. For me, I’ll make note of it and keep it moving. If it becomes a pattern, I’ll definitely address it, but I won’t harp on it.
But I would just play man. Let the game come to you. Have fun with it until it stops being fun. Know when to switch on and off being a critic and just playing the game for the love of being a gamer.
English

@Aurondarklord Gotcha. I think Asia will definitely be the primary region too. Numbers will likely go up this weekend, but I think the game is definitely polarizing. The hype has people wanting to play it, even if they already know it’s not for them.
English

@BonafideXP I was referring to its mixed user reviews on steam. We'll know more if that's had any actual effect on its momentum tomorrow morning when we see peak numbers in Asia, which will likely be its primary region.
English

@BonafideXP @CrimsonDesert_ Exactly bro
Controller remapping needs to be there
English

Every YouTuber I’ve watched review Crimson Desert has loved it for the most part.
IGN gave it a 6/10.
They gave Concord a 7/10 🤣

More than 110 hours in, Crimson Desert is an ambitious RPG that has swung wildly from incredibly cool to gobsmackingly infuriating. Our review so far: bit.ly/4lEo3D6
English

@RAKSWALKER @CrimsonDesert_ I can’t say the controls are janky yet, but they are definitely more involved than what I would expect. The jump and talk being the same button is annoying.
English

@BonafideXP @CrimsonDesert_ Totally agreed with you mate
Played for an hour
Combat looks cool
Controls are janky
Same button for jumping and speaking is pissing me off
Double to x to run reminds me of AC games.
