You are aware that representation, and over saturation are two different things. The primary issue however is sexual themes that should not be in children's programing. Or idealism that go against majority beliefs. Being okay with it is fine, HOWEVER the ones who are not comfortable with the content will be weary, and cautious. This goes with varying degrees of course. Regardless parents are the ones that decide what they want to teach and raise their children on, and if they're not comfortable with the content, they're allowed to make note, and spread the word of their view to help others who are similarly minded.

*Sigh* The recent over saturation of overtly political themes in children's programing in recent years has caused people, namely parents to become more cautious and observant of such things. Common sense obviously escapes you or you'd know this already. There's many documented cases in social media, and news media. So, it's not very strange for it to be pointed out now, as the subject matter in tv and films recently has created a need for people to make note of it. Or maybe that explanation doesn't matter, and you're just looking for something to bitch about...
