One day we'll eventually be a serious country again where someone like this lady cop would never even be considered for the position she currently holds. But, we're currently a VERY unserious country and have to deal with people like this with police officers like this and that combination will always lead to scenes just like this. The Home Depot employee who pulled her off the fight pile was trying to do her a favor but she was committed to putting herself in a situation she had no place being. Maybe not a popular take but I am calling for this guy to be pardoned. Unless the DOJ plans on going after all the crooks in congress currently insider trading, this is simply skewed justice. There is no “justice” when guys like this get the book thrown at him yet members are illegally profiting every day. I don’t agree with what he did and he should be required to disgorge all the profits however, unless the DOJ plans on doing Congress next, this is not justice.
