@_NamelessGoon @MordredBro @Auggie308 I think fallout tends to flanderize itself and the censoring of real life weaponry helps a modern audience view it through a lens without so much critical thinking because everything is just a pretend pipe gun or some weird alt history gun

@Bongscrape @MordredBro @Auggie308 there’s an intermediate point of taking a real firearm and fictionalizing it’s upgrades with a more 70s/80s “future soldier” design that keeps it distinct from its real life counterpart and fits the fallout aesthetic. you just have to be creative and stop thinking of pic rails

@Bongscrape @Auggie308 I would argue there is a distinctive aesthetic difference between the P90 and an AR15 with Mlok, an Eotech, etc. P90 fits in better with a futuristic society from before than an AR15 does imo. Mostly because Mlok is ugly as sin

@RazorwireRPG They don’t want to focus on real life guns for some reason. I think they ultimately want to separate fallout from its political implications and the goofy Disney guns help them achieve that.

@Auggie308 The P90 was developed for the cold war, for vehicle operators to basically always be strapped with ammunition to bust up flak jackets. It’s infinitely more plausible than the .50 cal sub machine gun (12.7mm)
