As usual, the truth (about Sony's new DRM) lies somewhere in the middle. Having spent nearly 40 years watching gaming corporations turn "nothing" into Season Passes, paid Cosmetics and DLC, lootboxes, etc, its naive to think they have no ideas to push this further.
