@bbheinz Im ok with slightly too long if its all relevant and well written. Im happy to look over it sometime to let you know if theres anything you should just cut out, abbreviate, or just roll with it.

My personal statement runs 1.3 pages in ERAS. Formal character count limit is 28k, mine is 4.4k. I know the unofficial rule is no longer than 1 page. Am I allowed a little leeway since I'm 37 and took 6 years in med school?
