If you find yourself in the SOAP, you get 45 applications for each application service. Which means you can apply to 45 in residencycas and 45 in eras. That potentially doubles your number of 🧼 opportunities. Dont overlook this if EM is a potential backup.

Should be a great perspective on the first year of residencycas for next years students and beyond.

I’m gonna be an emergency medicine doctor (& first doc in my fam) 🥹 From my first shift as an ED scribe, to a couple ED “shadow” shifts in M1/M2, to my EM elective in M3, and then my EM auditions… I have been working so hard towards this, it feels surreal #EMbound #Match2026
