Don’t lie. Tembisa is even fluent. LaC was speaking in a very recent episode of uTatakho to accommodate Setswana speaking elders and they understood each other. Have you even watched these women you are talking about? Coz there’s no way anyone who has watched them would say this.

The Funny Chef was ostracised and eventually fired from OPW because she didn’t speak isiZulu. Then you had Bo LaC and Thembisa who didn’t speak any of the Sotho languages but went on to present for a couple seasons.

Remember the Cuba matter with the Department of Arts and Culture denying me off my opportunity? My work was translated in Cuba in a tribute to Ntate Keorapetse Kgositsile. I was chosen alongside SA icon Antjie Krog.
The head of department of Arts and Culture refused to bring back my copies of the book because of ego reasons and the deep antagonism I get from the department.
When I send messages to the minister spokesperson she ignores them.
I just want the copies of my work guys. It’s not fair and it’s so cruel what they are doing.
Pls RT far and wide till I get my books from Cuba. It’s my work 😔😔

Yesterday I was in Katlehong and they had Loadshedding there.
In Soweto, Dobsonville, they even have Loadshedding schedules and Abo Gogo and Aunties who often take care of families are left to bear the brunt.
They call it Power Outages.
The poor and vulnerable can never be forgotten whilst us in Suburbia Mzansi applaud on X!
Journalists need to visit these communities and tell their stories, this is in now way being anti-government but we got to be honest about what does ‘328 days without Loadshedding’ mean in the real sense.
