Recording an Ep of @AlecLewisShow this afternoon. What Vikings Qs do you have?

@TPPSkol @DanGrazianoESPN QB3 or QB1 I just want them to win a Super Bowl and itd be nice if its a guy we drafted.Once upon a time you were all-in on JJ nd after 10 mediocre games you refuse to post anything positive about him. Id say its an 80-20 split he earns QB1 but he still has a lot of team support

@Boogie_man2008 @DanGrazianoESPN Listen Boogie. I don't know what to tell you but anyone with 2 eyeballs (heck one eyeball will do) and a brain know that Kyler is QB1. I think the true real question, whether you like this or not, is whether JJ will be QB2 or QB3 going into week 1.

McCarthy 👀 There's no reason to trade McCarthy now says Graziano, but if Murray comes in and plays well all season, McCarthy's future in Minnesota is likely done. "The expectation is that Murray was brought in to start. If he does so and plays well, it's hard to envision much of a future in Minnesota for McCarthy... People I've talked to who are close to this situation insist that the Vikings haven't given up on McCarthy -- that part of their hope is bringing in Murray sends some sort of shock to McCarthy's system and gets him refocused on whatever they think he got away from last year. @AroundTheNFL @TomPelissero This coming out is to send a message to Murray even though he’s only been in the building a month. A true competition benefits JJ because his resume doesn’t remotely compare to Murray.

@NicholasMMiller If Kyler starts 14 games, plays like the 13th best QB in the league and gets a playoff win we’re paying him $50 mil AAV. The Wilfs can’t help themselves

The first big decision for the new Vikings GM will be Kyler Murray. It’s essential that they hire someone who is strong enough to tell the Wilfs/Brz/KO that they can’t pay him a market contract for the sake of stability if he doesn’t deserve it based on the ghost of Sam Darnold.

@Vikeologist Felton. He didn’t produce on the field but clearly he’s done things behind the scenes to build confidence with the coaching staff by the lack of FA/draft add. When we add somebody it’ll be Tim Patrick type

Orange, banks, and Thomas are all personality hires. They bring the violence that the defense lacked last year. Each one is an extension of Flores intensity as a coach.

“This is not something we’re jumping around excitedly about, but we do feel like we did the best thing for the organization moving forward..." Rob Brzezinski on trading Jonathan Greenard... He added, “We have just spent so much money the last several years that it’s not sustainable for us to move forward...Our salary cap situation has been very, very challenging.” While moving on from Greenard makes the Vikings "worse" on paper today, getting a return for a guy who was going to walk for nothing was a win for the team, even if it was a year early.

@Skol_Doc @NicholasMMiller Cine wasn't a reach at all, projected to go right around #32 problem with 2022 at the time was poor value by the charts for the trade fans trained on mock draft simulators think there'll always be a fair offer to move down a few picks, but sometimes there's no good offer

I got a hot take that I know many will have difficulty getting past and that’s fine. From a pure draft day and value standpoint, what the Vikings did last night was significantly riskier than Kwesi’s 2022 trade down and if Banks doesn’t work out, should be judged as a worse move
