@ChrisYoules It might be providing some kind of tech solution to assessment and marking but there's a few pitfalls, still nice to dream 😄

The workload survey has revealed that our teachers say that they have no work life balance, the marking & assessment is crippling & the constant scrutiny has plunged staff morale to an all time low. We need to do something about this. Staff yoga?

@eddieplayfair Teaching in FE I would occasionally have students doing GCSE English language part time alongside going to University and I liked that the University didn't deny them a place, it inspired them, it was nice knowing that this wouldn't hold them back

A Minimum Entry Requirement for HE which excludes 8% of current undergrads won't widen participation. Why not expect HE (like FE) to support work towards GCSE g.4 level in English & maths? And why not a modular approach 16+, to value student progress rather than create failure?

Both Joni Mitchell & Neil Young think they’re truly doing something by taking their music off of Spotify. Joe Rogan doesn’t spread misinformation, he has open discussions. When your entire political ideology is based on suppressing discourse, you’re on the wrong side.

Nobody has stronger opinions about Joe Rogan than people who have never listened to Joe Rogan.

The problem isn’t @joerogan; it’s people who demand submission to their views and seek to silence others rather than persuade.

These artists have a right to remove content in protest. But make no mistake, their intent is to force Spotify to censor Joe Rogan so that you and I can no longer choose for ourselves whether to listen. They’re on the wrong side of history. Truth persuades. It doesn’t coerce.
