Today I announced new measures that will help reduce wait times, improve client experience, and help modernize our immigration system. These measures build on the work we've already done to reduce wait times, including hiring 500 new processing staff and digitizing applications.

Good morning @SeanFraserMP Investigate Accra VO @CanHCGhana. Atrocities are going on there that all clients can't speak of. It makes no sense, it isn't right that files of 30+ months would reside in their office gathering dust! Even before the pandemic, they've been egregious!

@SeanFraserMP there are 30+ month old files in Accra VO @CanHCGhana The least this Visa Office can do is to call their clients and ask if they are ready to travel, that is in case the CoPR to be issued has a short expiry date. #ReleasePPRAccra They must be investigated!

@SeanFraserMP Sir, applications from 2019 are being abandoned. This is the height of injustice. The mandate says reduce processing times but when older files are abandoned, the waiting times become a nightmare. Please instruct that files on RFV at Accra visa office be finalised. Thank you

@CitImmCanada We need basic communication on the process you would be employing in clearing FSW backlogs. Applications on RFV from 2018 and 2019 have been abandoned at local VOs. The greatest injustice would be to neglect older files for newer ones @SeanFraserMP @JustinTrudeau @jasrajshallan
