@EtheralGames @SplattrCatGames That's the risk of picking a saturated genre though - you're competing against everything old and new, and the card game genre doesn't evolve quickly. If you don't have some completely radical idea, it's not enough to stand out - and if you do, it might turn off tranditionalists

Been counting and my inbox the last two weeks is 70% card games. Ridiculous.

@SplattrCatGames Yeah... It's pretty bad if you're on the other side of things too. We had to scrap our game that took way too much time because of how saturated this space is.

@Zebrion2 @SplattrCatGames Completely disagree, we took a TON of to develop something strategic and exciting, and failed to pick up an audience. If you're working on craft, it's incredibly difficult. And you may just get F*d by having picked a saturated genre.

@SplattrCatGames It's the most low-effort, high return game model. All they have to do is have attack/defense numbers, some random effects to make flavor, and a pack-opening system and they'll make money - and now with AI, they don't even have to hire artists.

@EtheralGames So exciting! I just saw Olexa play this an hour ago and I was reminded of when I asked you if Wildfront would come to mobile or switch. You said no, but Niknaks probably would. Is this still true? It, as before, still looks fantastic.
