@BoondockPels @ProPelsTalk @the1nonlycoop We need a couple of veteran assholes that will get in the faces of opponents & not back down. They also are the ones who are respected in the locker room & are able to hold their teammates accountable for poor play.

And I hope people don’t take this the wrong way because I really like Josh Hart..
But you can find the same player like him (hustler, decent shooter) for much cheaper. Naji Marshall is a perfect example.
I hope Hart gets paid, but we don’t have space to just waste money.

@BoondockPels @ProPelsTalk @the1nonlycoop And I would take any & all of those 3 players over Josh. I get it, you really like Josh as I do but at best he is a 7th or 8th man on a good playoff teams which is what NO is looking to build. Just can't pay him $12M for a 7th man.

@BoondockPels @ProPelsTalk @the1nonlycoop Hart is a below league average 3 point shooter (33%) & at 26 not likely to get noticeably better. Additionally before his injury he lost confidence in his shot pump taking on open 3s to take a low percentage runner. Did you remember this?
