*After 156 successful Falcon 9 landings, Just Read the Instructions will be fully dedicated to support Starship operations going forward"
😱😱😱

Falcon 9 lands on Just Read the Instructions, which is the last planned Falcon mission for this droneship
English

@NASASpaceflight @spaceOFFSHORE They’re gonna put a mechazilla on it and use JRTI for downrange catches
English

@spaceOFFSHORE How the heck does it support Starship ops?
English

But B.O. doesn’t do great at landing, do they? The booster always hovers next to the target, then slides sideways and burns up the pad. They are barely there. Bezos needs to get off the party circuit and his yacht and hire a better Chief Engineer. From
pre launch to landing, the whole operation feels amateurish.

I’m still in disbelief that $ASTS sat waited for 2 months for @blueorigin team to get their shit together, just for the team to completely fuck it up and seemingly not care about it.

@ParkerFromMars @SpaceBasedFox @Seriq_v2 I think what he’s saying is they’ve had 2 crews training but will choose which one to fly and to publicly announce when the HLS is chosen
English

@SpaceBasedFox @Seriq_v2 That sounds to me like there will be a significant delay already, I don’t think any crew has ever trained for a nasa mission from scratch in under 15 months

@AST_SpaceMobile These fucking assholes at Blue origin called the mission of success well I got 15,000 shares of AST and I'm going to get fucking pulverized tomorrow. It's a shame I don't have a fucking insurance policy oh wait it's called a class action lawsuit!

@torybruno sorry, I know you guys are throwing out a party for Never tell the odds second successful flight, but would you be able to tell me if the booster has the same engines that had on flight 1? Please and thank you!
English

@astronomy1002 @CSI_Starbase The concept of sane boosters implies the existence of insane boosters. Could we get a deep dive investigation on this please @CSI_Starbase ?

The responses to this are interesting to say the least. Half the people realize I was clearly comparing Starship to New Glenn and responded accordingly
The other half are literally losing their minds and are offended by simply pointing out that I don’t believe anyone would have predicted this 2x recovery of the same New Glenn booster before 2x recovery of the same Superheavy.
The class of vehicles and method of recovery are irrelevant. As fans of space exploration we have ALL repeatedly made comparisons about the progress of New Glenn and Starship development. This is no different unless you choose to make it into something it’s not.
I must have missed the memo that we are no longer able to talk about them in the same sentence 😅
Zack Golden@CSI_Starbase
I don’t think Blue Origin recovering the same booster twice before SpaceX was on anyone’s Bingo card even a year ago. Exciting times!

@Starship_block3 I’m not really sure there’s a way which it could be between 35 and 37 unless it doesn’t spin but doesn’t release the simlinks for some reason
