I’m down at the border now, there are several hundred people sleeping in the cold desert tonight. We have them supplied with water and spaghetti os, but resources are running low. If folks could donate to @BorderKindness it would really help to keep people fed and sheltered

In @SanDiegoMag's Oct issue is this photo essay by James Cordero at @BorderKindness, a local nonprofit that (among other things) hikes into the desert weekly to drop water & other supplies for migrants crossing the US-Mexico border. I wrote the text.
