@Chris_Leigh_UK @BorderSolution_ @PedzKeenan That’s money already spent. As much as I think the building is ugly you are arguing to cut costs on already spent money from 20 years ago. The upgrades to the House of Commons alone are at 40 billion which is just under £600 per person in the entire UK.

Brilliant news for Ayrshire - 450 new skilled jobs in Prestwick as Ryanair expands its maintenance hub. This week alone we've announced over 2,300 new jobs coming to Scotland. Much of that is down to the immense work of Kate Forbes, and I can't thank her enough.

@scottish_brit @HerdImmunity12 @reformparty_uk All DWP/HMRC pensions and benefits are fully funded by Scots NICs/Income Tax, and only amounts to around £22.5Bn. Defence costs can be cut by £3Bn. In fact, all reserved costs can be slashed in such a way! The devolved nations pay more, per capita, for the same reserved services.

Oddly, if you submit an FOI request asking the Scottish Government for evidence that Scotland’s renewables are low-cost, or even just to identify a single low-cost generation asset, they have absolutely nothing. Because Swinney’s rhetoric is simply not true.

Scotland produces huge amounts of renewable energy, but the UK's broken energy system means people's bills are through the roof. Scotland's energy should work for the benefit of people, not Westminster. On May 7th, vote SNP for the fresh start of independence, with lower bills.

So if Reeves’s claim that Brexit cost us 8% of GDP is correct it would mean we’d have grown four times more than Japan/Germany and almost twice France/Italy. Up there with Canada/US. If you believe that I have a bridge to sell you. In reality, even with Brexit, we were fastest growing European economy in G7. Just a tad more than France (with no Frexit).

There are currently 205 enrollments in Irish Language courses in total at QUB. By contrast, approx. 1700 of 3500 international students at QUB are Chinese. What is the purpose of a sign? Are the 205 students currently wandering around, lost, unable to find their classes?

Very, very true. I have been speaking out on this issue at Queen’s because I feel passionately that students from a PUL background should not be subjected to such marginalisation. I will continue to lead these efforts in the coming days to maximise the ‘no’ vote.

Today, I went to Newry to watch the St Patricks Day Parade. I was surprised by the amount of stalls at the council run event that were selling balaclavas and more disappointed to see parents buying them for their children. The eulogising of terrorism should never be normalised!

My son's class had a party on the last day before March break. Unfortunately, one child in the class was taking part in Ramadan and as a result, the entire class was explicitly told no snacks at all. This is not mutual tolerance, this is suicidal empathy.
