Few things to talk about regarding $ORX, as it crossed a few critical milestones recently🎉 ---------------------- Firstly: Up until now, vesting $ORX was allocated voting power. It was setup this way, because people who had long term alignment in the protocol, were locked the longest. HOWEVER - vesting $ORX is now mostly yield farmed ORX in the form of Backstop Rewards. Our voting harness will be setup to now use liquid ORX as voting power, since they are now the majority shareholders of the protocol. ---------------------- Secondly: People like what they see in the single asset staking functionality for AU. Some have been floating the idea of introducing regular/rolling single asset staking incentives for $ORX in parallel with $AU. This would take the form of Sunday-Sunday rolling locked stakes, which target a roughly 50% APR. This would essentially make ORX inflationless for long term holders from this point forward, as they have a way to make ORX on ORX, and offset Backstop Pool rewards. This APR would need to come by releasing forfeited tokens gradually, to use the forfeits of those who left, to reinforce the hands of those who stay. The crypto market is essentially a giant rigged casino.
Exchanges can see your positions and deliberately hunt them to trigger liquidations. When too many people try to withdraw, they shut the doors and call it an outage. When the market moves in a direction they do not like, they halt trading. When they want prices to pump, they print stablecoins out of thin air and inject it. When they want things to crash, they dump their reserves to force panic. If you speak out against it, they try to sue you into silence. When all else fails, they’ll just pretend they were hacked and disappear with everyone’s funds.
You will not win until you acknowledge the rigging and learn how to outsmart the riggers.
