@iamkemba @kemal_e_forde Olympics have way more athletes, but they also have way more resources, tech, and staff to manage it. Champs is trying to keep things simple and efficient with large fields. Champs also has huge entry lists early on, so numbers help officials and timing systems stay accurate.

With Shanoya Douglas running in the 100m 10.98seconds at Champs it is very likely that she will go pro. She has a very likeable athlete with the potential to earn a lot more money beyond having a shoe contract. Hopefully her team ensures that she capitalizes off the opportunities that come from being a young, talented and consistent athlete.

And tbh, it’s perfectly fine if you choose not to support us, we don’t depend on that attention. In fact, it would be better to keep that traffic away from our athletes altogether. Our junior athletes are already among the best in the world, and their progress speaks for itself.
