@STL_Stats_Facts I know it’s early and probably not relevant but this also is the one series the team can afford to lose because of the 4 game sweep. If somehow tiebreakers come into play, the bounce back against the other division teams are more important.

This was the first series that the Cardinals have lost since 4/24 - 4/26 against the Mariners. Almost a full month ago with barely any off days.

Cutter Gauthier said he broke his L1 and L2 vertebrae on March 30th, per @Derek_Lee27. He returned just two weeks later on April 12th and played the ENTIRE postseason.
