🟥➡️UWAGA! Są we Wrocławiu ludzie, którzy próbują doprowadzić do... odwołania Remigiusza Jezierskiego. Prezes Śląska właśnie awansował do Ekstraklasy, stabilizuje sytuację finansową, robi zdecydowanie dobrą robotę.

STATEMENT: The Department of War has reduced the total number of Brigade Combat Teams (BCTs) assigned to Europe from four to three. This returns us to the levels of BCTs in Europe in 2021. This decision was the result of a comprehensive, multilayered process focused on U.S. force posture in Europe. This is resulting in a temporary delay of the deployment of U.S. forces to Poland, which is a model U.S. ally. The Department will determine the final disposition of these and other U.S. forces in Europe based on further analysis of U.S. strategic and operational requirements, as well as our allies’ own ability to contribute forces toward Europe’s defense. This analysis is designed to advance President Trump’s America First agenda in Europe and other theaters, including by incentivizing and enabling our NATO allies to take primary responsibility for Europe’s conventional defense. Secretary Hegseth spoke with Polish Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz earlier today, and the Department will remain in close contact with our Polish counterparts as this analysis proceeds, including to ensure that the United States retains a strong military presence in Poland. Poland has shown both the ability and resolve to defend itself. Other NATO allies should follow suit. The Department will provide more information at the appropriate time, in the appropriate setting.

@e2dbg @SeanParnellASW @DeptofWar I do not agree with totally pulling out of Europe. I do agree with making Europe pay more for their own defense. With minimal defense budgets, they’ve built top-heavy welfare states that are now teetering. We should be there, but so should they. Have a nice evening.

Europe needs to start making a case, sell the idea, why the US should have any troops in Europe. Instead of a bstructinv and insulting us repeatedly. Give us a few good reasons that benefit us so substantially it is worth hundreds of billions of our tax money and possibly the blood and lives of our troops.

Poland Paid $50 Billion for America’s Friendship. Turns Out That Wasn’t the Deal. Poland has spent fifty billion dollars on American weapons. F-35s, Abrams tanks, Patriots, HIMARS. The full catalogue, ordered with the desperate enthusiasm of a country that shares a border with Belarus. Last week the Pentagon scrapped plans to deploy 4,200 troops to Poland. The brigade had already held a send-off ceremony, shipped its tanks, and sent advance personnel into Europe. Then came the call. Don’t bother. Poland was blindsided. Their officials found out by ringing American congressmen. JD Vance turned up at the White House briefing today and told a Polish reporter he was overreacting. It was just a delay, he said. Europe needs to stand on its own two feet. Poland spends nearly four percent of GDP on defence. It hosted American troops and paid fifteen thousand dollars per soldier per year for the privilege. It sent men to Iraq when Washington asked, even when France and Germany quietly suggested that everyone involved might regret it. Rumsfeld once called Poland the most pro-American country on earth, including America itself. The reward for twenty years of that devotion is being told, by a man who has never heard a gunshot in anger, to look in the mirror.

@WhiteHouseIce @visegrad24 From US perspective maybe, we buy lots of arms from you, we dont tax your corporations etc. And end up with most of soldiers being cut here in Poland. US hasnt had worse press here for past 30 years. And man your ambo...he is a real asshole, a total misunderstanding.

USA seems to be on track to reduce the number of troops it has in Poland by around 40%. It also looks as if the troops pulled back from Poland will constitute ca 80% of the total number of U.S. troops removed from Europe in response to F. Merz’s comments during the Iran War. U.S. officials today clarified the details of the planned troop adjustments in Europe. Vice President JD Vance described the move as “not a reduction” but “simply a standard delay in rotation” of an armored brigade that was just about to be sent to Poland. However, he later made it clear that it was uncertain whether those troops would be sent to Poland at all. Meanwhile, Gen. Alexus Grynkewich, NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe, confirmed the troop numbers reduction in a Brussels press conference. He stated that the overall U.S. reduction in Europe totals approximately 5,000 troops, consisting of roughly 4,000 troops from the canceled armored brigade rotation to Poland and around 1,000 troops (a long-range fires battalion) from a planned deployment to Germany. If these plans proceed without replacement, the U.S. military presence in Poland , which currently stands at around 10,000 troops, will decrease by approximately 40% down to roughly 6,000. This accounts for about 90% of the total 5,000-troop Europe-wide reduction coming from Poland. The decision involves two armored brigades from the 1st Cavalry Division: the outgoing 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team (which is now completing its rotation and is returning to the U.S.) and will not be replaced by what would have been the incoming 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team (“Black Jack” Brigade). As a result, hundreds of armored vehicles will no longer be present in Poland, including: - 87 M1 Abrams main battle tanks - 152 M2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles - 18 M109 Paladin self-propelled howitzers - Around 100 additional support vehicles (M113 variants, engineer/recovery vehicles) This represents a notable near-term loss of U.S. heavy armored combat capability on the eastern flank. The sequence began when German Chancellor Friedrich Merz criticized Trump’s approach to the Iran conflict. Trump responded by announcing U.S. troop withdrawals from Germany. In the end, however, it looks like Poland will see the most significant troop reduction unless further adjustments are made to the plans announced so far.

@visegrad24 You need to provide additional context. When did Poland start getting all of those troop rotations? It's not like this has been a permanent piece of nato structure and what are they doing there?
