@Bobsthecardman @CardPurchaser Pick your favorite 2-3 players, and just find their best or most important card in your price range. Don’t buy a downtown just to buy one, buy one bc those are your favorite looking inserts

I’m creating a savings goal for a specific larger card that I can add to my collection that will ideally appreciate over time and also be something meaningful to me. Curious from my fellow hobbyists - is a downtown the way to go? What would you target? @CardPurchaser

Someone explain to me why ppl on eBay put a card up for $150 or best offer, and their minimum offer allowed is $5 less than ask. Just turn it off, save everyone some time

@baseball_cards For cards under $100 if it gets there safe there should be no complaints about tape or packaging unless it’s egregious And for expensive cards if you’re that picky about how they’re shipped, just shoot the seller a message, I would have no problem trying to accommodate if I can

It’s a great question and something really dumb about the card game today. It is 100% true blue masking tape (painter’s tape) does less damage when removed. It is 100% silly that people get upset and leave bad feedback when people don’t. It’s so odd. People buy cards. They pay for the card. The seller ships the card. The card arrives in perfect condition. The buyer complains about the shipping practice! “They used scotch tape!” “They shipped my $100 card in a bubble mailer!” “I paid $30 for this card and they sent it in a penny sleeve, encased in cardboard, wrapped in bubble wrap, surrounded by styrofoam peanuts. The card arrived fine but get this: No top loader! Never buying from that guy again!”
