Full Senate confirmation is next and it’s expected to pass. He wants rate cuts. Trump wants rate cuts. But here’s the problem nobody’s telling you: Warsh can push for cuts, but he still needs a majority of the 12-member FOMC to agree. 3 of the 4 officials who dissented this week did so because they think inflation is still too hot to even hint at cuts. Oil is above $100. Inflation is running above 3%. The Fed’s target is 2%. The last time the Fed was this divided was 1992. Your mortgage rate, your car loan, your credit card APR none of it is coming down just because there’s a new face in charge. The new boss. Same problem. Do you think Warsh will actually cut rates or will the math stop him?

The House just voted against banning soda from SNAP. Why should the government fund your soda purchases? If SNAP recipients want to buy sugary drinks, they can do it on their own dime, not on the backs of a taxpayer-funded nutrition program.

Someone inside Kaiser sent me the below internal guidance concerning shots and medications for newborns. It tells Kaiser employees that the "approach to how we introduce and administer routine newborn ... Hepatitis B vaccine" is to " avoid saying ‘it’s optional’ or ‘you can refuse’ unless directly asked” and to tell parents that "we will be giving" instead of asking consent to give. This is the antithesis of informed consent. Yet Kaiser calls it “excellent patient and family care.”

My 1st daughter was born with Kaiser and there wan absolutely no information given as to the shots given let alone any information on any side effects. When I was told she was getting a shot I said “what is that for?” And I was told by the nurse it’s to protect her. There was no phones to the internet for me to check anything. I just assumed they would always have the child’s best interest at heart. I was wrong and regret allowing that and subsequent other shots (13 in total) by six months. And many more after. She will be living with us until we die and then what? Fast forward to my second child being born at Henry Mayo six years later and when the nurse said “time for the shot” I said no Her response and I quote: “That’s fine if you don’t mind killing your baby!” The brain washing of these nurses and hospital staff is disgraceful.
