Three degrees doesn’t equal commercial competence. Australia is heading toward nearly $1 trillion in federal debt, productivity is tanking, business confidence is weak, housing affordability is broken, energy costs are crushing households, and small businesses are folding daily. So forgive people for questioning whether the “experts” are actually expert. A doctor is judged on patient outcomes. A builder is judged on what stands up. A founder is judged on survival and results. Politicians should be judged the same way. And the scoreboard right now is ugly. Delegating decisions to bureaucrats and advisors while never having personally built, risked, employed, or operated at scale is exactly the criticism being made. That’s not disingenuous. That’s accountability. Keep hurling insults… that’s all you got and even they don’t substantiate like your mate Jim and Anthony

Never signed a personal guarantee. Never had investors breathing down their neck. Never created jobs from scratch. Never had to survive a market downturn with their own money on the line. Yet they write rules that reshape the lives of the people who do. Protected salaries. Protected pensions. Protected careers. Then they wonder why productivity collapses, investment slows, founders leave, and business confidence dies. The people carrying the economy are being governed by people who’ve never truly participated in it.
