That's the idea. That's why they created a state and federal case against him. Once again, Tinubu puts Uba Sani in the bad guy position. Federal granted him bail, state is playing politics. @ubasanius is the culprit. The idea isn't indefinite detention. The idea is to punish and erode Mallam's will until he gives in to what they want. At this point, it isn't about ADC. It's clearly personal. Allah ya saka wa Mallam. Azzalumi, yan cin amana, matsiyata daban suke. Wallahi, I can't even waste time and fight such a man. Ya je shi da Allah. Scum of the earth wallahi. Na tsani butulu.
Sadiq G sadiq@sadiqGsadiq

Their plan is obvious, to keep Malam El-Rufa’i in detention until after the ADC primaries, or even the general elections. It makes no sense for a Federal High Court to grant bail in the same case while a State High Court refuses to do so, without any tangible reason.

Sometimes we just need to think deeper than we do. Did you know that this simple quadratic curve with its tangent is the core logic behind the Newton-Raphson method that we use to solve complex non-linear problems today? The truth is: If you never struggled with this green graph paper, you would not know how to spot when a simulation is lying to you. As a Master's student, I took a course on the Rheology of materials. This curve is part of the constitutive model we use to determine what type of property a material has. Why does your toothpaste stay on the brush instead of running off like water? It is because of yield stress. The slope of these curves is what engineers study to make sure your paste only flows when you apply force to the tube. This knowledge is a means to an end. You might not see the importance now, but if you study deeper and go higher in the STEM fields they are built for, you will see it.

Institutionalization of Islam in Northern Nigeria predates him as well. The person that institutionalized Islam in Northern Nigeria is Muhammad Al Maghili in the 16th century. He came to Kano & devised ideas on the structure of a government, qualities of an ideal ruler, and the administration of justice in Islam, He wrote the statecraft, Taj al-din fi ma yajib 'ala I-muluk, which become like a guide book for Islamic rulings in the Hausaland, he was the reason many scholars came from present Northern Nigeria that people as far as Egypt, Timbuktu, Sudan come to seek knowledge.. He led revolution against the rulers that insisted on pre Islamic rules, like Al Turi which later complied. Al Maghili made the rulers imposed Shari’a law, The lands were Islamically ruled before Dan Fodio. You can check any historical of scholars around that time from West of Africa & Notth Africa and see how much Islam was here. I can’t write much.
Bōkyaku no Ōu🔻@ashita_valdez

No one serious is claiming Islam didn't exist in Hausa land before Dan Fodio. My precise argument is that his jihad consolidated and institutionalized Islamic scholarship, not that he invented Islam. Islam survives where it has strong scholarly infrastructure, and Borno had its own deep institutional roots. But here's what history consistently proves: Islam needs to be actively protected from corruption at the leadership level or risk mass apostasy and secularism, as we have seen today. Abu Bakr's R.A Ridda Wars are the earliest and clearest example. The moment the Prophet died, entire tribes began refusing zakat (Zakat!!! It's not like they were mixing shirk with Islam) and yet Abu Bakr R.A fought them because corrupted and compromised leadership, or the absence of it, causes religious practice to hollow out rapidly. The Umayyads prioritized Arab nationalism over Islam. See how it ended. The same with the Abbasids, and most particularly the Ottomans, where the ruling class became increasingly secular and disconnected from Islamic scholarship. Look at how rapidly they descended into chaos. Look at Egypt and what has happened there. All of these are sufficient examples of what happens when Islam becomes increasingly nominal generationally. No one is saying the Hausa kingdoms Dan Fodio challenged were anti-Islam. They were Muslim leaders who had allowed syncretism to creep into governance and practice, and they hardly seemed able to control it in any form. Do you genuinely think their Islam would have sustained to the next generation, let alone reached us in the dimensions and spread that it has today? Do you think the path the Hausa leadership pre-Fodio was on would have led to any of that? Lol. Reducing Dan Fodio's contribution to nothing because pre-existing Islam existed is the same error as reducing it to everything. He was one significant pillar at a critical moment of drift. And if you cannot look at Muslim society in the North today and see how it is rapidly deteriorating as a living example of exactly what I am saying, then quite frankly, you are completely blind to the truth.

The judge isn't the problem. @ubasanius is. State High Courts belong to the state. Uba Sani is the reason the judge is doing what he's doing. If you want to hound anyone, hound Uba Sani. That's why they brought the case to Kaduna. To form this gridlock. Shi matsiyaci, dan cin amana daban yake.

The depth of betrayal faced by Nasir El-Rufai at the hands of someone he trusted, groomed, assisted to be in power is not just disappointing, it is historically striking. One would search far and wide, even into the era of Jahiliyya, to find a parallel of such calculated disloyalty, and still come up short. This is not just politics; it is a lesson in human nature. When loyalty is repaid with treachery, consequences are inevitable. Life has a way of restoring balance & and when it does, the lesson is never forgotten. Wait for it.

I will never support the LAWFARE being waged against former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai. @elrufai Let the courts uphold the rule of law by granting him bail and ensuring he receives a fair trial. Bail is a constitutional right not a tool for punishment or intimidation. Using bail as a means of caging Nigerians is unjust, unlawful, and unacceptable. It is a practice we must all reject, regardless of who is involved.

It is both myopic and deeply flawed to question Buhari’s relevance to Arewa on the basis of the tribalism Tinubu is openly displaying. What we are witnessing is a deficit of national character and a dangerous erosion of unity. Had Buhari and indeed other Northern leaders, chosen this path of narrow ethnic loyalty, Nigeria’s fragile cohesion might not have survived. What is being normalized now sets a troubling precedent..
