When I watched Mike Bickle's "Black Horse" sermon, I was confronted with the fact that he was knowingly lying about things that he claimed were foundational life encounters with God. It was so incredibly disorienting. Its one thing to come to terms with the fact that someone you long greatly admired has a secret or double life and is a hypocrite. That is not that hard to accept. Everyone has the capacity to be a hypocrite at times. It's another thing entirely, however, to come to terms with the fact that they are knowingly, deliberately lying about things so incredibly holy and sacred that the only conclusion one can arrive at is that they likely do not really even believe any of it. They are acting like outright unbelievers entirely. More likely, they have been lying for so long that they have become a tangled mess of moral compromise, lacking any real fear of God, to the point that they can justify such utterly ungodly, hypocritical, and reckless behavior—ultimately for their own self-preservation.

So, I know fasting can be defined as having 1 full meal and 2 smaller meals that do not add up to 1 full meal in a day. That said, I know different people may choose to do less on days of fasting. If y'all don't mind me asking, what's your approach for a day of fasting?
