The Red Sox are not a great organization - top to bottom. They are mediocre. The Brewers are an elite organization- and it’s clear how they don’t even spend that much and have a great team. The Red Sox should have a lineup like Houston’s and a pitching staff like the Brewers. They just don’t.

Well, that was a deflating way to lose your first series of the season. Connelly Early deserved better. Yes, Greg Weissert crapped down his leg, but the Red Sox offense is going to need to do more than this. 0-for-6 with RISP... and a .179 mark for this series. You were able to cut down the strikeouts compared to yesterday, but just very little overall impact. Can’t be only Wilyer Abreu putting you on his back and you can’t afford dumb mistakes on the bases.
