If they were gonna do the whole “Frank doesn’t want to be The Punisher” story for the umpteenth time, having the reason be that Frank unintentionally inspired a bunch of shitty cops to use his logo would’ve been way more effective. But given that Jon Bernthal is very publicly pro-police, I guess they didn’t wanna go that route.
