In Semolale, following participatory assessments and community consultations, the village prioritised the refurbishment of a local recreational centre. The project restored the facility into a functional and safe community asset that supports youth engagement and social cohesion.

Under the Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) initiative, the Botswana Red Cross Society (BRCS) is strengthening community resilience and local capacity in Bobirwa District through targeted, community-driven projects funded by the Netherlands Red Cross Rode Kruis.

This initiative supports Botswana’s Primary Health Care Revitalisation Agenda, strengthening community-based health services for every child.
