.@BourneFireCC recently battled a four-alarm fire that started with oily rags. The oils in some paints, stains, and varnishes release heat as they dry, and that heat can cause ignition if applicators are left in a pile, a box, or a trash bag. Learn more: mass.gov/info-details/d…

Four-Alarm Commercial Fire – January 10, 2026 We responded to a 4-alarm structure fire last night at 150 State Road. Press release attached. Thanks to our mutual aid partners & assisting agencies for their tremendous support—both on scene and by covering Bourne.

Prescribed burns are scheduled at JBCC today and tomorrow. Residents may smell and see smoke in our area. Remember to only call 9-1-1 for obvious fire not to report smoke.

09:44 - Crews from @DeepingFire @BourneFireCC @stamfordfireuk attended a 2 vehicle RTC on the A15 near Market Deeping. Ladder used to assist a casualty out of ditch, casualty care provided to 2 casualties who were left in care of EMAS. Small tools used to make vehicles safe.

We proudly announce that we have been awarded $19,000 in the Firefighter Safety Equipment Grant. This his year's award will help us buy thermal imaging cameras, electric vehicle emergency plugs, and portable radio batteries.

Shift 4 had a busy 24 hours yesterday into this morning. Crews responded to a motor vehicle crash with entrapment. Patient transported by Medflight to RIH.

We are excited for our ceremony tomorrow. We will be swearing in new officers and recognizing employees with 20 years of service or more.

Crews on scene with a boat that ran aground on a stone channel marker in Phinney's Harbor. Two souls on board self-rescued with no reported injuries. We are working with our partners from Bourne Police and Massachusetts Environmental Police. Bourne DNR is en route as well.

Crews working a kitchen fire on Old Plymouth Road. Plymouth Fire and Brewster EMS assisting on scene. Fire knocked down, no extension, EMS evaluating one civilian with non-life threatening injuries. Mutual aid in for station coverage.

Today an instructor from the Autism and Law Enforcement Education Council provided Autism Awareness for First Responder training for shift 2. Training continues tomorrow and the call company next week.

Traffic at the #Sagamore Bridge is horrendous today. I’m giving the #Bourne Bridge all of my business until further notice.

We are proud to announce that we received a $110,000 FEMA FP&S Grant. We will be conducting home safety inspections & smoke alarm installations in residences in Bourne. This funding is crucial to our CRR efforts & ensuring all residences have working smoke & CO alarms.

Beginning Today 3/19, the @CorpsNewEngland will have 24/7 lane closures in place for ongoing repair work on the #Sagamore Bridge. Work is expected through May 2023.
