PLS Group signs a supply deal with a Chinese battery material maker with a floor price of $1000 a ton. mining.com/web/australian… This translates to US$710 per ton. It's worth noting that, as of June 23, 2025, the average spot price of SC 6% in the Chinese market was US$606, the lowest price since 2021. #Lithium

EG: Wouldn’t they have to apply for a new EIA which could take 2yrs

Liontown´s urge to participate in brines makes 100% sense looking at the lithium cost curve. Brines are the lowest cost Li producing assets, particularly those using solar evaporation. I am not enthusiastic about DLE being an efficient and low cost technology, yet, time will tell. thewest.com.au/business/minin…
