@SisterAnemone I feel this. Lmao! I've made a couple song covers using mayonnaise (since mayonnaise is an instrument, as we all know,) and as I was tapping the container with a spoon, I had to make sure the spoon was angled in a way to not show my face in the reflection. 😂😂😂

I cannot count the number of times I have almost accidentally face-revealed while trying to post pictures or videos from my phone 😵‍💫 Always double check reflections before hitting post, turtledoves!

@mx_lazuli I've got a friend that orders a lot off of the TikTok shop, and while he talks up each purchase, they always seem very low quality, and don't last nearly as long as they should. Think Temu quality level. I'd personally stay far away from the TikTok shop.

So, has anyone actually used the TikTok store for anything and been happy with what they got? I'm asking because I keep seeing "AYN Thor for 70% off" etc etc. I definitely don't trust it, but it got me wondering if any of the sales on the shop are to be trusted?

@exisbread Ahh, that's unfortunate. These things shouldn't happen, but they do. Like you said, though, at least you learned and know what to look out for, in the future.

I try to stay away from negative stuff on here, and usually stick to funny/dumb tweets and memes, but I'm shocked at the levels some people will go to scam others for money. @exisbread was unfortunately scammed by two individuals who impersonated the winners of her art contest. Now, I used to work in retail. I'm no stranger to scam attempts. However, I'm appalled at how some people can see an innocent art contest and think "That money is mine." and just do shit like this. I've reported them for impersonation, because taking advantage of other's kindness sickens me, and they don't deserve my pity. If anyone else wishes to do so, their handles are in the description of the original post. For any #vtubers, or anyone in general, looking to do a community contest with a prize, cash or not, just beware of the lengths some people may go to ruin a good thing. Bread, I'm so sorry this happened to you. Whether it was due to greed or a lapse in judgement, I hope these scammers get the karma they deserve. Try not to let this get to you. Anyone can be a victim of a scam. Even those who are good at catching scam attempts can't always catch them all. I hope you can get your money back.
