@Boxy_FT @haravayin_hogh The sense of betrayal on the right, especially the RZ right, to Bennett is kind of fascinating. Lots of politicians have broken promises and jagged and jived. But Bennett setting up the government with Lapid and the left is taken far more personally.

Doesn't mean much coming from Bennett since he's basically a persona non grata among much of the right, but he's not wrong. The "hilltop youth" or whatever you wanna call them have to be reined in

Some context - Amatus was a Portugese Marrano who settled in Italy and returned to Judaism, and became a notable doctor. He had to flee the persecution of Marranos of Pope Paul IV.
This copy of his book is from 1564 from what can I tell, and the rest of it isn't censored

Something cool I found - these are from a letter by Amatus Lusitanus to Joseph Nasi, where he details how he escaped Papal persecution. It's in the intro to his medical book (Centuriæ). But this specific letter was crossed out by someone who evidently didn't like it. Inquisition?
