If NBA expansion teams really go for $7B–$10B each, $MSGS at roughly $8B EV makes even less sense. The Knicks and Rangers are established franchises in New York with built-in fan bases, history, and scarcity value. With all due respect to Seattle, an expansion team there should not be anywhere near Knicks territory.

There is momentum for stakeholders to approve surveying what industry executives project will be bids in the $7-to-$10 billion range for each team.
