The NFL’s viewpoint on adding more games to standalone windows, including Wednesdays, is that “more football for fans is only a good thing,” NFL executive Hans Schroeder said today. The league believes that is being validated by the ratings it continues to generate. At this point, the league does not appear to believe there’s a tipping point where it starts to feel excessive.

Not saying McCort wanting to go up to 2A the last two years and then being OK going down to 1A this year and suddenly changing to trying to go back to 2A (and not being successful) is related to BG’s status, but it begs the question.

Interesting to see McCort on the list. They could have been 1A last cycle but chose to stay up at 2A. It looked like BG was going up to 2A but didn’t get enough success points and McCort then tried to once again play up to 2A after deadline but was denied. 1 of 2…

BREAKING: PIAA Wrestling Steering Committee approved in April to recommend to the PIAA Board to ADD a third classification to wrestling starting in the 2028-29 school year. Board has to approve it. @MrPatMineo

@mwhiteburgh I'm not a lawyer but common sense dictates that Federal courts are not bound by state immunity provisions for federal rights violations. Plaintiffs could sue in federal court.

@BobGreenburg The boys nominations were the same time as the girls… but we haven’t even been given the boys ballot back to vote yet.

Per Mike...No word on when PA Boys All-State teams will be released but it will probably be couple weeks. Not good....
