All while Canada sits on some of the largest natural gas reserves on Earth. We don’t lack gas. We lack pipelines. So instead of moving Western Canadian energy east we import it from the other side of the planet and call ourselves climate leaders. Let that sink in. We tax Canadians in the name of carbon reduction. Then ship fuel across oceans instead of using our own. This isn’t environmental policy. It’s ideological paralysis. If climate actually mattered, we’d move Canadian gas east, displace dirtier global supply, and cut shipping emissions overnight. Instead? 25,000 km of diesel-powered virtue.
