Andrew Santino just blew my mind with one simple comparison.
A million seconds = 11 days.
A billion seconds = 31 years.
Let that sink in.
We throw around “billionaire” like it’s just “millionaire but with more zeros,” but the actual gap is insane. A million seconds is less than two weeks. A billion seconds is longer than most people’s entire adult lives.
It’s a perfect reminder of how detached our brains are from what these numbers actually mean.
Next time someone casually says “he’s a billionaire,” just remember: that’s not “a lot of millions.” That’s an entirely different universe of scale.
Mind officially blown.
It’s been an insane week and I heard about the family meals at Texas Roadhouse - so decided to try them out tonight for dinner and I was impressed!😳👏🏻 I felt like we got a lot of food for our money, and I would definitely order again!🍽️ From one busy gal to another, this is a great pickup option if you don’t feel like cooking
Hegseth: "Shot down on a Friday -- Good Friday -- hidden in a cave, a crevice, all of Saturday. And rescued on Sunday. Flown out of Iran as the sun was rising on Easter. God is good."
@whiteguydiaries@RpsAgainstTrump@grok I think it’s easier for people to explain why they’re either an idiot or an asshole for still supporting him at this point.
So besides the whole Iran war concept, could you give a detailed explanation as to why you’re so against Trump and the things he’s done as president? This account has been around a long time and I see a lot of propaganda but not much rational reasoning that would actually sway anyone to think differently than they already do.
Everyone so “Horrified”at President TRUMP and his language. GIVE ME A BREAK. This is the way people TALK. Get Over it. It’s barely lunch Time and I’ve heard the F word on the streets of NYC a dozen times. TRUMP is Keeping it Real—-WE ARE GOING TO WIN!
Clavicular reveals how he can eat McDonald’s and still stay lean
“It’s just about the total macros. If you’re in a caloric deficit, it doesn’t matter what you eat. They’ve done studies where people only eat Rice Krispies Treats or Twinkies and lose weight the same as eating beef. 2,000 calories in Twinkies or 2,000 calories in sweet potatoes is going to be the same for weight loss”
Dr. Annette Bosworth (Dr. Boz) dropped a strong warning about Ozempic for weight loss.
She said we should put her words in a time capsule and open them in 15 years. While the drug produces dramatic weight loss, she argues the mechanism is essentially starvation-level weight loss, which causes people to lose muscle mass at a dangerously high rate — especially concerning for older patients, since that muscle is extremely hard to regain.
Science nugget: Clinical studies show that a significant portion of weight lost on GLP-1 agonists like Ozempic (semaglutide) comes from lean mass (muscle) rather than fat alone — in some trials up to 25–40% of total weight loss was lean tissue, which can impair metabolic rate, immune function, bone density, and long-term physical resilience.
Her bottom line: this kind of rapid, muscle-wasting loss may shorten longevity rather than extend it.
It’s a sobering counterpoint to the current hype around these medications.
What do you think — are we celebrating the weight loss without fully understanding the long-term trade-offs?
Jimmy Darts walks up to a pastor and tells him he hasn’t eaten in days and is really struggling.
The pastor immediately stops everything, prays over him with total sincerity, offers food and shelter, and shows genuine kindness — no questions asked.
Then Jimmy drops the twist: it was all a test of character.
He hands the pastor $500 cash on the spot.
But the surprises aren’t over yet… because Christian singer Phil Wickham walks up and adds another $5,000.
Who do you think showed the greatest act of kindness here — the pastor, Jimmy, or Phil Wickham?
I’m going with the pastor ❤️
@SimpPolice911 I appreciate her looking at the perspective of good men who pay yet not allowed to see their children enough. It’s not about the money as much as the time missed.
Rick Pitino was asked what stops people from being great. His answer was one word.
"Ego stops greatness. I call it edging greatness out."
"In a spiritual sense, ego is edging God out. But ego is edging greatness out."
And he made a key distinction:
"I'm not talking about confidence. You have to be a confident person."
"But ego really gets you to where you think you've arrived. You think you know it all. You stop learning. You stop listening."
That's the trap. Confidence keeps you hungry. Ego convinces you that you've already made it.
You lose your hunger and humility.
"Learning and listening are important for great leaders. Great leaders have to listen and they have to continue to learn and surround themselves with people that are better than them."
EGO = Edging Greatness Out
The moment you think you've arrived is the moment you stop growing.
Stay confident. Stay humble. Never stop learning.

🚨 MIKE POSNER SAYS HIS $70,000 ROLEX MADE HIM MISERABLE — SO HE DITCHED IT FOR A $40 TIMEX
American singer and producer Mike Posner says buying a luxury Rolex turned out to be one of the worst “deals” he ever made.
He thought the watch would make him feel cooler.
Instead, it made him anxious.
Posner says every time he traveled with it, he was constantly worried:
• it would get scratched
• a backpack zipper would damage the face
• he’d forget it in a hotel safe
He says the watch was a Rolex Day-Date with a diamond bezel, a model often referred to as the “Presidential” Rolex because it has been worn by multiple U.S. presidents.
Eventually he realized something unsettling.
“I didn’t possess the Rolex… it possessed me.”
So he ditched it.
Now he wears a simple Timex and says it gives him way more joy because he doesn’t have to worry about it.
His message:
“Don’t slave away for possessions… don’t let your possessions possess you.”
Did Mike Posner just say the quiet part out loud about luxury status symbols?
