(Amanda) It's not a very good photo but it shows something very exciting - Maurine and I relaaxing together for the first time! I think Betty had a bit of a shock when she saw us. I've never been s so friendly with another cat before, not even with Sweet Barbs. I'm going to share some more photos tomorrow, they are much better than this one.

Well I'm having a struggle mama chicken the one that's been sick didn't come back in tonight I seen her just an hour or so ago and I can't get none of the babies to come in. They spend enough time in the coop they should know exactly where to come back to. This sucks.

I brought my baby home from the shelter the other day. Meet Peanut.. She was sitting quietly in her kennel when I first saw her—tiny, wide-eyed, and trying to be brave. When the volunteer placed her in my arms, she tucked her little head under my chin like she had finally found somewhere safe to rest. That was it. I was hers. The ride home was soft purrs and curious glances out of the carrier. By the time we walked through the front door, she stepped out like she already owned the place.
