Thrilled to share our work out in @Nature! Linking flexibility modeling, single-cell imaging, and targeted optogenetics allowed us to characterize how some prefrontal neurons, and mPFC-VTA neurons in particular, drive contingency degradation behavior. nature.com/articles/s4158…

Thanks Michael! Excited to share that my work on the nociceptin opioid sensor is now published in @NatureComms. Thanks to the @tpatriarchi lab (and especially my co-first author Xuehan) for all of the hard work on this collaboration!

Chk out our newest collab paper co-led w/ @tpatriarchi, & others. We developed & characterized a nociceptin opioid peptide sensor. Congrats to Xuehan, @carriestineUW (student in my lab) who co-led effort. DM to try. @NIMH @NIDAnews @NAPECenter Link: nature.com/articles/s4146…

Incredibly thankful to have had an opportunity to work on this project. I learned so much from @SodenLab and had a great time picking apart the VTA! Check out this thread to learn more about input specific regulation of VTA cell types 👇

Excited to share work from @mbruchas & @ProfJohnARogers labs led by myself, @MinKyuLeePhD and @MingzhengWu with help from @NeuroLuxInc, @AvilaROAD, @NUro_science, and Dr. Yonggang Huang. Here we describe a device for combined intracranial drug delivery and fluorescence recording.

@tychoi5667 @gstuber @Labrigger @outRaajeous We haven't tried. I suspect miniscopes will need some modifications to the focus mechanism before they are compatible- we talk about this a bit in the discussion section of the paper. It seems possible for sure!

Excited to share our methods work out in #Neurophotonics today! We coupled a new microprism design with a long working distance objective to track thousands of cells across days in the striatum. doi.org/10.1117/1.NPh.…
