@MrsTylerKSR As someone who is part of various fan groups, sports & non-sports, horror movies & Star Wars for example, you nailed it. All fan bases have terrible, toxic fans. The people that feel the need to tag players & celebs and attack, those people are the lowest! They need to get a life

There's a lot of talk about the toxicity in the Kentucky fanbase today. FWIW, I think that exists everywhere, but BBN has a big online presence, so it's just louder, especially when UK is losing. My one contribution to the discussion: I think the pandemic had a huge impact on mental health. People have a harder time separating social media from reality now. I think that's especially true for players, who were at a formative age when the shutdown happened. Seeing what is said on an app by an anonymous fan can overshadow real-life interactions. That's the sad state of life right now. Don't get me started on how negativity is being actively promoted by some algorithms. tl;dr -- Winning helps everything. And don't be a butt online.

Ultimately a disappointing season…so many expectations but just couldn’t match them most of the year A few very good wins and a great March memory with the Oweh shot but in the end a year most UK fans will consider a disappointment

Total collapse here in the 2nd Half. It felt like Kentucky was teetering most of the first half and now it completely falls apart

Kentucky has scored 20 points in the last 20 minutes of the game They just can’t handle the Iowa State pressure and once ISU switched to that extended pressure, the Cats haven’t been the same

There are no “trap games” when you are a 7 seed. Kentucky is better than Santa Clara. But they can lose. And if they do, the season is a failure But BBN being scared of Santa Clara is silly to me.
