Wat een afgrijselijke, diepduistere doodscultus:

Muslim women in Iran offer their babies as martyrs while chanting “Death to America and Israel” at the end of this ritual. A death cult that offers its own children.

@mikepat711 @TeslaOwnersNL I think Tesla knows not to overtake on the right hand side. The fine is €329. That said the truck is driving unnecessary on the left side.

I’ve been noticing this recently on 14.2.2.5. When FSD sees a semi in front of it drifting, it won’t drive alongside it or pass. You can see this semi drifting on and off the line multiple times in this vid, and as it slows down, FSD slows down with it to avoid driving alongside it.
Love subtle stuff like this. It’s exactly what I’d do.

I went for a full self-driving ride in The Hague, Netherlands, with @teslaeurope. The 30-minute ride was completely smooth, like a chauffeur was driving. I was really impressed, especially in the city center with lots of bikes and chaotic traffic. It was very prudent.

@sciencegirl Ha! That's exactly what is happening in Star Trek: The Next Generation Season 1, Episode 15: “11001001”

@SawyerMerritt I hope it's more private than the increasingly 'big brother' system we have now. Probably not, because it is set in law.

OK I own a Tesla MY and I own $TSLA. From a pure financial point of view a subscription is great for me as a shareholder and for people who can't pay FSD upfront.
But from an car owner's point of view I don't like depending on the manufacturer to be able to use my car. I should be able to at least choose to buy FSD upfront or on a need basis.
I think Tesla and Elon Musk for that matter should proudly support the right of ownership. Look what happened with the Nest thermostat.
English

@SawyerMerritt Good. This will massively reduce confusion.
Tesla should make FSD Supervised free for the rest of the quarter for people who haven't sign up yet.

NEWS: Tesla has officially discontinued Autopilot in the U.S. and Canada. All new car purchases now come standard with Traffic-Aware Cruise Control.
The online configurator has now been updated to allow buyers to choose the $99/month FSD subscription, while still offering the option to purchase FSD outright for $8,000 until February 14th.
New Tesla vehicles purchases still come with a 30-day free trial of FSD (Supervised).

It's like following $TSLA. The stock is around $433. So, as long as there is no extreme volatility everything outside the +6.9% and -6.9% is bloat, fat. So that is what you see when looking at the candles.
If you want to see more, zoom out. With less resolution, but that is not relevant when zooming out.
Why is this simple principle actually patented? Got too fixed on math and lost the context? 😂😂
Of course the devil is in the details. I'm a proud @Tesla and $TSLA owner.

The distinction between float and int diminishes as the number of bits decreases. In the limit of 1 bit, there is no difference.
Also, worth remembering that a float is just two ints, mantissa and exponent, with a lot of juggling.
Once you get to 4 bits, you have 16 possible outcomes. You can then do whatever you want with those outcomes.
English

Okay guys, all the blocks are fitting together today.
Today:
- Elon announces that work on Dojo will restart after AI5 design is finished.
- Ming highlights this patent showing how Tesla designed a more efficient float representation for gradient descent.
In my article with 14 points on Tesla's moat, I predicted that Tesla would use AI5 to run gradient descent instead of the H100, utilizing in training mode parts of the die turned off during inference in the car.
I got the idea right, but I underestimated Tesla on the implementation. These engineering GOATs aren't going to use standard floats—that's too lame for them. To use the chip more efficiently, they invented a new number format called "C-Float".
Read @tslaming's articles for details.

@stevenmarkryan It has the same origins as scissors. Also used to cut off. And coincidental it can be used to do the other too.

A common mistake people make is confusing their WISH to make a decision with ACTUALLY making a decision.
When you decide, it is DONE. You cut of all other options. This is the hard part.
The step before this hard part is the wishing, which is easy.
"I've decided to..." — is often said about something that never happens. This usually means no decision was made, just a wish.

@MiaBuff51366 @engineers_feed We believed it, but it wasn’t proven. The proof came in ‘92 when the brightness of a star was measured and it was periodically dimmer because of the passing of a planet of that star system. If I’m not mistaken.
English

@engineers_feed Why did people in the past believe there were no planets beyond our solar system? The solar system is not unique in the universe.
English

@stats_feed Have you ever been to India? Take Varenasi, definitely more crowded than any other city I’ve been from this list, like Paris, Amsterdam, New York, Stockholm, Rome.
Take this stat with a grain of salt.

A clip of what I said in Feb 2025 re: the new more affordable Teslas.
Tesla's 10/7 dicktease is 99.69% likely to be the first of these.
My current guess is a DAY 1 starting price ~10-12% below today's entry level models but (per masterplan) $TSLA will drive costs down over time & pass those savings on BUT with the caveat that they will have to price according to demand and production capacity.
If starting price on day one is ~15% below current entry level, I will 💩 a brick. But I expect they'll be aiming to get there once at HIGH production volume and as we know, Tesla will NOT stop deleting costs over time and passing those savings on to customers so day 1 is likely to be as expensive as these ever are.
One final thought:
With the refreshed 3 and Y really packed with luxury, high-end features (they're basically what the S & X once were), and already dominating (Model Y is the world's best selling vehicle for likely the 3rd year in a row), Tesla can keep the current 3 & Y in steady state with approx current pricing and use the more affordable 3 & Y iterations to drive 1-2 million+ in additional vehicle volume ALL prior to the ramping of the next generation vehicles (WHICH ARE NOT THE SAME AS THESE NEW AFFORDABLE MODELS ON EXISTING PLATFORMS!!), to be built with the modular manufacturing system with MUCH lower costs.
p.s. BUT... who even cares about vehicles bruv?

So if you want to cast your vote on the Tesla shareholder meeting and you are with @DEGIRO in The Netherlands, you can send an email to ca@degiro.nl with your details and votes and they (say) will take care of the rest.
Hopefully next time DEGIRO can supply each $TSLA shareholder with his (or hers) control number.

Elon Musk: If you're leading engineers, you should yourself be good at engineering.
“If somebody is going to lead something in technology, they must themselves be good at technology. If they're going to lead something that involves complex engineering, they must themselves be good at engineering.
They don't necessarily need to be the best engineer on the team, but they need to be very competent in their field. This is incredibly important.
To me, if somebody's leading a given engineering field or engineering department, and they are not good at that, then that would be like a cavalry captain who can't ride a horse.
Problem: great leader in every way, except he can't ride a horse. Then you've got to charge into battle, and the cavalry captain falls off the horse. It's not inspiring.
So, the cavalry captain must be able to ride a horse. They don't need to be the best horse rider, but they must be competent in this regard.
Otherwise, they cannot evaluate the talent of the team. And they don't understand the technology that's being developed. This may seem like a simple thing, but it is often the case that this is overlooked.”
