I’ve had my @eBay_UK account since 2012, 100% positive feedback. Always an honest buyer and seller for all sorts of things over the years. Put a PC component up for sale the other day and a guy offers me my minimum within 3hrs, I agree to sell it and post it the same day as he seemed desperate. I was crystal clear in my description that it was missing one of the original USB-C to USB-A cables as I lost it when I moved house and that a normal cable does the exact same job. Guy messages me demanding I either partially refund him for the ‘Missing’ cable or ‘I can have it back’ once delivered. I suggest he takes it up with eBay as he clearly didn’t read the advert. As you can see below he’s playing the buyer protection system and trying to extort money from me basically. He then puts in a return request for a reason that is completely null and void. I ring eBay and they suggest I accept the return request despite me not being in the wrong, I tell them I will not pander to people like that who are playing the system and would sooner not use their platform anymore. Now my account is under review and all payouts have been put on hold for at least 5 working days 😡 So fuck you @eBay_UK and your ridiculous system that always sides with the buyer regardless of what they say or how blatantly they abuse the system.

@barkmeta After fees and shipping you’re at a loss, unless you sell locally and have the customer collect in person, but still not worth the time, you can make more door-dashing lmao

I have been eating nothing but McDonald's Happy Meals for 6 months straight. Yes, you read that correctly. Here's the math: Right now every McDonald's Happy Meal comes with a pack of McDonald's Pokemon cards. These are special promo cards you can only get inside a Happy Meal. A Happy Meal costs $5.99. The sealed McDonald's Pokemon card pack inside sells on eBay for $6.49. I buy the Happy Meal. I eat the food. I sell the cards. I make $0.50 and eat for free. I do this 15 times a day. I have not paid for food in 6 months. I make $7.50 a day for eating McDonald's. People can laugh but this is the greatest financial arbitrage on earth right now.

You can’t live in this country without debt. And that’s a fact. 20 years ago I left England. The credit scoring system barely existed. When I came back, I was a millionaire. Yet I couldn’t rent a flat, get a phone contract, or do basic things without a credit score. And the only way to get a credit score was to get into debt. Private companies have created a system where debt is the entry fee to normal life. They package debt as if they’re helping you...

I just recently opened a Cash ISA account. I don’t think it will be as powerful as the Shares ISA account, but I will add a small amount each week (or month) and see how it performs over the next few years.

If you’re earning less than £30k in the UK my advice to you is don’t play the patient game “it will come” FC … UK is ruthless there is money out there go and get it. Upskill into a different area and go and get that paper. Start networking and learn about business. Key word LEARN … when you feel inspired and ready take a risk! Too many people suffering in silence there is so much content and knowledge out there lots of ways to make money Find a passion of yours and start writing about it on Substack. Just do something don’t let life pass you by. Once you mastered this you can charge to ghost wrote newsletters for other businesses. Learn how to edit videos learn about ai then charge people to help them leverage ai with their day to day. Learn about how to become an appointment setter! Making football content is a quick way to build a following and start getting some brand deals. No more excuses. Nothing comes from nothing. Just try something
