This is absolutely atrocious and a deathknell for many websites
Serebii should be ok as a large portion of our traffic is direct due to our reputation, but this is horrendous for all individual sites everywhere.
These things scrape our sites then kill us. I see no logic to it.

@JoeMerrick Basically I recommended Serebii for all info since I've been using it since I got Platinum at 13 on 2009 and he told me it was frequently used by AI search results, so I think that's a compliment on the utility but it sucks it probably holds back website usage :p

@Hartsy_ @NekkoMeneko The thing that really sucks though is even just the hobbyist aspect of it. I liked to buy an ETB and a booster box or something per set and around Prismatic Evolutions it just suddenly became impossible to get almost ANYTHING, so much so that partnered shops have to scalp

@Touyarokii I think it's one of those counter expectations - I think people imagine something so much, hype up fanart and fan concepts and their own hopes and imaginations that essentially they feel let down when an official doesn't match those. I think it's what happened to RE3 Remake too

(2/5) except for RE:3 has had some form of DLC (& seperately, RE6 & RE:3 were supposed to get small story DLCs that were cancelled in part to their reception, RE6's about Claire responding to Tall Oaks with TerraSave which turned into Rev 2 ultimately, RE:3's about Nikolai).

I think Capcom will determine it fully when plotting out future games based on RE9's reception. But I do think they made Grace with the potential to come back to her if they wanted to.
I'll add I'd be very happy to see more Grace Ashcroft in Resident Evil's future, though.

The two worst parts of the entire Resident Evil series is Ada's Chapter 5 in RE6 (with the helicopters), & the last fourth of Gaiden when they're spamming you with Tyrants everywhere. Nothing else in RE I feel comes close to how bad those two sequences are.
