Totally false. Law enforcement need RAS, “reasonable, articulable suspicion” that you’re in the process of or have committed a “crime” in order to demand ID. No crime, no ID. If you are asked to leave, and you leave, no crime has been committed. Demanding an ID with no crime is a 4th amendment violation. You have the 5th amendment that allows you to remain silent. Demanding you to answer questions with the threat of arrest if you don’t is a 5th amendment violation. Only after you are arrested for an actual crime is when you are required to present ID. Even then, you don’t have to answer any questions without your attorney present. You can remain silent.

You don’t need to give ID for a trespass warning, unless you are asked to leave, then you refuse or come back. You have to be allowed a chance to leave when asked. If you do, there is no crime. He just had his 4th amendment violated. He should have said, I don’t want to give up my 4th amendment, but I will give it under duress if you’re going to arrest me if I don’t give it. We need police, and I support good policing, but they take an oath to uphold the constitution. If they are going around violating the constitution to make their job easier, they are trash and need to be replaced with good officers that uphold their oath.

Sales tax. The childless adult argument is silly. It benefits everyone to educate kids, however our schools are just babysitting at this point. They are all admin heavy too. The whole system needs to be overhauled. Everything is taxed because they have a spending problem and we allow it. They have staff for their staff, meanwhile the infrastructure and security we pay for crumbles.

@begraced @Ravious101 Not free exactly but seems to be much better choice - except even if you home school you are still paying school tax for schools you are not using… Parents are also starting teaching “pods” where a group of parents pay a good teacher directly to teach their kids

I’m sick of 80% of my money going to taxes

@Brando041 @Ravious101 Point taken. The 1/8 cent for an acre in 1820 was based on size, not value. Pay tax now on 100k purchase and they raise your tax based in increased value they claim so they can waste and steal taxpayer money! That's all I have to say about that.

There were still schools, roads, police etc. And now the I think of it they started income taxes based on War Relief during World Wars. Why did they continue (at a reduced rate intially) and decide they should be permanent? BS
