Bill Maher's audience goes quiet as he shills for Israel and lectures them about "anti-Semitism." It gets so awkward that he literally has to beg them to laugh.

The irony is deep. It’s buried under a mountain of historical illiteracy and partisan hackery. That cartoon is peak left-wing fever dream. Here’s the part Democrats conveniently forget, the real racist SCOTUS era was when the Court was carrying water for the Democratic Party’s favorite causes: Dred Scott (1857, Taney Court telling Black people they weren’t even citizens), Plessy v. Ferguson (1896, “separate but equal” upholding Jim Crow segregation). Those weren’t conservative originalists. They were the judicial arm of the same political machine that gave us the Confederacy, the KKK, poll taxes, and lynchings. Democrats owned the South and the segregationist playbook for a century. Fast-forward: The VRA of 1965 was a bipartisan triumph against that legacy. But the modern Court, the originalists, not activists have been saying the quiet part out loud since Shelby County v. Holder (2013): the preclearance formula was based on 1960s data that no longer reflected reality. Southern states aren’t running Jim Crow 2.0. And the latest ruling in Louisiana v. Callais (6-3, April 2026) is even clearer: Section 2 of the VRA doesn’t let states draw congressional maps where race is the predominant factor, creating majority-Black districts that violate the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment. It’s not “gutting” the VRA. It’s saying the Constitution doesn’t allow the government to play racial bean-counter with voting maps any more than it allows it with college admissions or jobs. Race-based anything is discrimination. Full stop. That’s not “systemic racism.” That’s enforcing the color-blind principle the 14th Amendment actually demands, the one MLK talked about (content of character, not skin color). Thomas has been hammering this for years: racial gerrymandering and preferences entrench division, not heal it. The left’s response? Slap a Confederate flag on it and call it a day. Because admitting that rejecting race-based carve-outs is progress would mean their entire worldview, where every disparity is “racism” requiring more race engineering—collapses. The cartoonist wants you to see regression. Reality is the opposite: the Court is finally dragging us out of the identity-politics tar pit the Democrats spent decades widening.

@megynkelly @infolibnews WTF? BLM was a poorly run grift and yes maybe he supported it … he was wrong about it. This he happens to be right about -the rise of antisemitism is horrible and you are a part of it. Israel is not the enemy and unless you want terrorist in charge you should stand with them.

Democrats NEED to be talking more about the GUTTING of the Voting Rights Act. MAGA is silencing voters and carving up Black districts all across the South to hold onto power. This is Jim Crow 2.0. Silence is NOT an option.

You can redraw districts, but you cannot erase the power of the people. This week, I spoke with @Justinjpearson about our continued fight for voting rights — even in the face of efforts to silence and divide us.

Spencer Pratt just signed a deal to document his family as the “First Family of LA” — but only if he wins the Mayor’s race. The mayoral candidate inked a contract with a production company to roll cameras on him, Heidi Montag, and their kids throughout his political journey and (potentially) inside the mayor’s office. This could be the most entertaining LA administration in history… or total chaos. What do you think — par for the course these days? (Video: AI)

The women of The View have a full MELTDOWN over Spencer Pratt — with Joy Behar claiming Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is more qualified for the job because she has a “JFK Profile in Courage Award.” Joy Behar: “So Karen Bass has a JFK Profile in Courage Award. She navigated California through the worst economic crisis since the depression. Spencer Pratt was Snapchatter of the Year at the 2018 Shorty Awards.” Sunny Hostin: “It’s the second-largest city budget in the country, and he is not qualified for it. And we see what happens when people are not qualified for their jobs!” “Spencer Pratt is now comparing himself to president [Barack] Obama, and he said, ‘I have two awards from my community. President Obama didn’t even have any awards when he was a community organizer. He was able to become a senator and then a president for eight years. So, I feel like him and I have the same experience.’” “And Spencer Pratt, you don’t have the same experience. You don’t have a law degree from Harvard Law School. You don’t — you were not a senator. And there are baby steps you can take, like why not run for city council and learn about the city budget, and then maybe become president of the city council, and then maybe become the mayor?” Sara Haines: “Pushing back on your qualifications thing, again, back to Congress, look at all the qualified professional politicians with all the legal degrees and Ivy Leagues who just bent the knee and were complicit. I’d much rather have someone with less qualifications and more, like, chutzpah.” Alyssa Farah Griffin: “I don’t think a law degree makes you more qualified.”

Seventeen graves were vandalized at a historic Black cemetery in Florida, and Trump and DeSantis names were spray painted across a few grave markers. Does this look like something a Republican would actually do... or is the left at it again, framing us?!

I’m seeing a whole lot of playing dumb when it comes to Spencer Pratt. Dude lectures LA about struggle and lying about living in a trailer. But he’s actually staying at the Hotel Bel-Air. $1000+/night. WHERE’S HIS ACTUAL PLAN? Where’s his housing plan? Where’s his transit plan? Where’s his public safety plan? Where’s his budget plan? Where’s his workforce plan? The dude is a scammer!
