@n050up4u1 @ericpierre53 I’ve sort of gotten tired of this chase for 4k on older releases. Not every single popular film needs a 4k transfer and certain cartoons see the luck of a dvd transfer from vhs.

Most people think DVDs only being 480p is dogshit because they’ve only ever known compressed internet pixely 480p 4:3 DVDs genuinely still look great

@ranmasaotome96 They destroyed Joe as a character too. He used to be the hero cop who everyone respected and was the epitome of someone not letting a handicap ruin their life. Now he's treated like the loser of the group, his wife hates him, and he's treated like a fuckup police officer.

@shrijicol Agreed. However, while I found some of the new characters to be fun, I do feel that the addition of reptiles into the world seemed like a last minute decision and that they could’ve easily made them into bats or something else and kept it a strictly mammalian society.

Zootopia 2 is, confidently, Disney's BEST sequel to date. The charm from the original is still there, and more action packed and heart warming. Nick and Judy are lowkey one of the best duos in the Disney library. Also that Ratatouille reference was peak.

Hands down one of the greatest jokes in the whole show. Never fails to crack me up 🤣 Thomas, Percy and the Squeak is such an underrated episode in my opinion, not just of S6, but the entire Classic Series. The humour in this story is genuinely top tier!

@starlightfan02 @cartycinema seemed the opportune time for someone with a brain to have said “Hey, we can do better than this” and not lump us with the messes of S2-3 and give the world a better looking S1. At the moment I remain skeptical that MATTEL wants to correct this cultural wrongdoing.

@MiguelArtwork16 @UsualBlokeLuke For Psycho 1998, Gus Van Sant the director admitted it’s an experiment to prove if someone can remake a classic nearly identical. A 60 million remake that only grossed 37 million worldwide and had panned reviews. this Dreamworks experiment hopefully remains a one off.

@UsualBlokeLuke It’s a shot for shot remake, that is even worse, this is literally Psycho (1998) all over again, there is nothing fun about seeing the same thing just with minor changes, the director just confirmed it, I failed to see how people are still excited for this.

It is with great sadness that I share with you the passing of Britt Allcroft. The Allcroft-Wright family has asked me to bring this news to the Thomas fandom. A full obituary will be released in the London Times later today. The family is currently in mourning and asks that their privacy be respected at this time. Britt was an adoring mother and wife. A visionary producer. She brought so much joy and happiness to people everywhere during her time on Earth. Over the years of knowing Britt, we developed a close connection. It was truly a privilege to have her as both a mentor and a friend, and I’m so glad that so many fans were able to meet her at the New York screening of “An Unlikely Fandom”. It was an absolute honor to have her in our documentary, and she has since remained a vocal supporter of our cause. I think I can speak for the entirety of the fandom when I say that all of us will deeply miss her. Without her, so many of us would never have met. As a way to honor Britt's legacy, her family as asked that you consider making a charitable donation to your local chapter of the ASPCA in Britt's name. While I am devastated by her passing, we can all find comfort in the certainty that her legacy will endure forever through Thomas and his fans around the world. Rest in Peace.

@UsualBlokeLuke In your Season 7 review and Tug too, you each noted the strange use of slide whistles and kazoos for certain crashes but the us dub fixes it. Eg Thomas crashing into the dirt from Percy Gets It Right cuts out the goofy whistle. Just the dirt impact
