I’ll probably catch some flack for this, but someone needs to say it: Most players don’t get better at team practice. Team practice has a job: Get everyone organized, install systems, and get the team ready to compete Your job is different You’re not just there to “get reps” You’re there to show the coach how good you already are… so he writes your name in the lineup If you’re serious about baseball, your practice begins when team practice ends That means you need: -A plan made specifically for you -A clear understanding of your own development -The ability to filter out noise from internet experts and well‑meaning coaches with incomplete information You need to be able to: -Sift through information -Decide what actually fits your process -Smile, nod, and quietly ignore what doesn’t Because here’s the hard truth: They play you based on your performance, not your compliance Coaches love compliant players I do too When you walk into my place, I want you locked in and ready to work But if you comply and don’t perform, you don’t play. No matter how compliant you are Over your career you may play for as many as 30 different coaches Some will be brilliant Some will be average Some will be flat‑out wrong It cannot matter If your career depends on always having the “right” coach, you’ve already given away the steering wheel You have to become the kind of player who: -Knows what he’s working on and why -Can tell the difference between “this makes a difference” and “this just sounds good” -Uses coaches as resources, not crutches They are managing a team... YOU are managing YOUR career It's not that they don't care ... they do, but they simply don't have the time You can't outsource your future to generic practice plans It’s time to get a plan with your name on it SAVAGE Summer Training Early Bird Discount ends April 15th Register now and save BIG!

Mine is on the left but there are times you can’t tell em apart. And we live in a small town so over the years you can imagine how many times people think they are talking to the other one. If it’s a short convo they both don’t even correct people lol. But the bond they have is insane. It’s just another level of love

Story time. I built mass for 3 straight years from very rigorous training, keeping a very high protein diet, and practicing discipline like I never have before. It started with anxiety, depression, and failure - but brick-by-brick, I built the fortress. My legs grew and toned up. My shoulders grew and toned up. My arms grew and toned up. My face thinned out. My core got crazy strong. What was I missing? Visceral fat targeting. This is mainly controlled by diet (caloric deficit), maintaining a dedicated training regiment (got it), getting enough sleep (definitely need more), and just incorporating overall healthier habits (I buried any crutches I had years ago). Honestly, I was doing a lot of that pretty well and I transformed myself with cardio, weight training, protein, and hydration (3-year transformation pic below y'all have likely seen). That being said, I knew it was time for me to turn the dial up; or at least give it a shot and see if I liked the benefits of peptides. As I educated myself, my perspective started to shift - month by month. I was less-inclined to pick peptides apart with doubt and more inclined to read and enlighten myself. That perspective was also supported by a great team who [quite literally] promotes 'longevity, wellness, and strength.' That team is @nexgenpeptides. I support them because they first supported me: They sought out my time and talents through Barbarian. They've put their brand in my hands and trusted me with it. They've given me creative freedom on our projects/collabs. They've helped us expand our network. They've educated me on peptide research. They've answered dozens upon dozens of questions with patience. They are just good people. I started NG-RT 2.5 weeks ago and won't lie, I feel incredible. Knowing what my training and progress felt like for 3 straight years; I have context and a lot to compare it to. Introducing peptides has helped me drop visceral fat (down 11 lbs already) without losing strength or mass that I worked so hard for years to build. GLOW has helped reduce [and nearly eliminate] pain from a micro-tear a year ago in my forearm. Meth Blue is like putting blinders on with hearing aids. I know everything going on around me but nothing distracts me and I crank out work/training with a calm and steady confidence. If you think running 3 companies with a lean team/partnership, managing a multi-year home renovation, training 4-6 days/week, and being a very hands-on father and husband doesn't come with its own struggles, exhaustion, and gaps in time management.... you're crazy. I've been dialed in on my efficiency for years and have my shortcomings but introducing peptides has done nothing but enhance my transformation, energy, healing, and focus. In my 30's, I felt like I was in my 60's (and not the kind of inspirational "60's" we see on fitness 𝕏 ). I turn 43 in about 2 months and feel like I'm in my late 20's again. Everything I do is low dose but it's just enough of an edge to push me that much further. I feel incredible and am so thankful for the education I've absorbed through this community, and the team behind NexGen. I know - this is a lot to read - but I've been meaning to share this for a week (just haven't had time). My alliance with NexGen was driven by their initial pursuit and now I get to return the favor and feel good doing it. In the end, you gotta do what works for you. This isn't a paid promotion, either. Just my collective thoughts and reflection on my journey. If you want to explore, here's my link and it'll save you 10% on your order: nexgenpeptides.shop/ref/77/ I'll be making a big announcement tomorrow and can't wait. It might intrigue our friends here in the southeast so be on the lookout! 😎 God Bless - it's time to rest.

Oh No doubt about that but he was a late bloomer. 5’8” sophmore then 6’2” junior and 6’4” senior. He grew tall so fast it was a challenge. Growing pains to say the least. Height hit so quick he all of a sudden looked almost skinny and got stretch marks from growing tall so quickly. Junior year to senior year is where it really changed. He had to be so disciplined to catch his weight/muscle to match his new height. Point was the weight room taught him to be disciplined in everything he does. Close friend of his was a solid pitcher at 6’5” but never got in the weight room and was 165 at best. Never had a genetically blessed arm so his weight dramatically dictated his velo. But heck yeah my love was basketball so even 6’ wouldn’t been nice much less 6’4.” Sorry I didn’t mean to hijack your post.

I had another baseball dad sitting in front of me the other day. We got into where our kids train etc. The shock when I said my 12 yr old lifts weights was amazing and disheartening. The fact that people still think this way is wild. A baseball dad saying 12 yr old kids shouldn’t lift weights… Make it make sense…. If anything, proper strength training prepares kids to handle those exact demands more safely, with better technique and less risk of injury. Same dad is going to be shocked when his kid doesn’t make the high school team because he is too weak.

Mine did exactly that. Little league and all stars. Then travel once “he” wanted to play better competition at 13. Middle school season was so short. Even more ludicrous is having to stay at specific hotels. And yes mine is 21 now pitching in college. Most of his friends that started travel ball at 8-10 never made it to college or quit after one year.

It started going in the wrong direction as soon as Tournament Orgs began charging PARENTS gate fees to watch their own children play. Parents who have just dished out💰for travel, hotels, and meals are rewarded by being told they now have to pay to watch their son/daughter play. It's asinine and I will die on that hill. Keep your kids in Little League/Rec Ball until they get to the 90ft diamond.

If you’re a parent and you think — spending on kids sports is out of control — you’re not wrong. Look at spending on youth sports since 2019. Graphic via @wsj.

@barbarianfitco @DrinkSalinity For sure brotha. Now I never have to hydrate with something salty tasting. Tomorrow I’ll be trying the citrus. The wife has never liked any hydration and she loves it. Tastes more like a cheat drink lol.

@DrinkSalinity @barbarianfitco The ingredients speak for themselves. I started with watermelon and all I can say is wow. It tastes similar to Jolly Rancher-flavored juice. It blows the competition out of the water—grand slam in my book. I don’t like the taste of salt, so I’ve had to water down everything else I’ve used. I could drink this with just 12 oz of water.

@DrinkSalinity @barbarianfitco The wave is perfect. All my surf friends will be on this. That’s the one place where I really need to hydrate before I go out because you can’t exactly grab anything and nobody wants to paddle in to hydrate. You guys will take over the market.
