re: ICE…I’ve been to war as a Navy SEAL and spent enough time in the government meat grinder to know when the gears are slipping.  Watching ICE agents gun down American citizens in a fog of pure, distilled incompetence is like being strapped to a chair and forced to watch soft porn directed by Epstein.  When federal agencies stop hunting actual threats and start hunting law-abiding people, following the rules (setting appointments) to satisfy some bureaucrat's spreadsheet, the line between professional agent and executioner evaporates into a red mist.  ICE leadership is treating the Bill of Rights like the "terms and conditions" on a software update that everyone just skips past to get to the "accept" button.  It is a leadership failure of biblical proportions. We have seen the cost: two American citizens shot dead in the street because Director Miller needs his metrics to look pretty for the morning briefing.

It reminds me of the My Lai massacre, where the pressure for statistics outweighs the value of human life.  As someone who has served, I have seen what happens when a country loses its North Star. Our immigration system should not be weaponized to hunt people who are actually playing by the rules. How many of us know people who had scheduled appointments only to have agents use their appointments as a cheat code to detain?  UNSAT, as we say in the military.  This is not about your political slant or which flag you fly in your front yard. It is about the fact that the machine is officially broken and leaking oil all over the Constitution.  When you see a system being used as a sledgehammer against the very people it was built to protect, you do not sit on your hands and wait for permission to be pissed off.  You speak up. Silence is for the weak, and I did not come this far to go quiet now.
