They say stop and smell the roses… but have you ever stopped and smelled the trees?! The bark on these Ponderosa Pines smell just like vanilla! In the Sandias, you can find these trees between 7,200’ and 8,000’ above sea level.

While the winds earlier today were fairly light, they are increasing tonight as a dry cold front comes into the area. This front will drop temperatures to below average through Friday. Morning lows will get closer to 32° and even get down into the 20s for some later this week.
