( warning: length filter post incoming ) This filter update is probably one of the hardest updates so far in the past 10 years. It's not even because 'secrets of the atlas' brings so much content. For PoE2 I've revisited and reworked a lot of ideas and had to rewrite things from scratch. Now I'm taking the knowledge back to PoE1. This means I'm improving a lot of fundamentals, reviewing my code and streamlining things to allow for easier updates (with 2 games, I want even more efficiency). Here some of the things that I'm improving: - A new system to improve tiering that I've built for PoE2, because PoE2's trade APIs are disabled for now. It dynamically combines tiering rules, tiering aspects and a time-based-safeguard system. I hope it'll be a great improvement for early and late league tiering - A complete rewrite of the rare and endgame crafting bases. They're more accurate, simpler, easier to customize and highlight top level bases better - A better system to manage basetype-tiering internally. It's dynamic, minimizes human error and is much easier to work with. - A lot of smaller improvements and adjustments - On top of that improvements specifically design to handle the new memory-stranded and veiled items better. There are also some unique challenges created by having 2 games. Similar items have different functions (such as talismans) and there are just some workload and internal memorization tricks I'm employing here to optimize things. The great things about these fundamental changes are the possibilities it opens in the future as well. I have some very exciting customization options planned for the second half of the year. Oh and filterblade is getting a new background. It's getting some final adjustments now and I can't wait to share that!
